ShareInvestor Convenes Industry Dialogue on AI, Data and the Future of Capital Markets Engagement

 14 January 2026

ShareInvestor, an AlphaInvest company, hosted its industry event “Transforming Leadership and Competitive Advantage” at the Lexus Boutique in Singapore on 14 January 2026, bringing together corporate leaders, investors, and business partners to explore how leadership, data, and artificial intelligence are reshaping business strategy and long-term value creation.

As capital markets face heightened volatility, faster information cycles, and rising investor expectations, leadership and investor engagement have become strategic differentiators rather than compliance functions.

The event, held in an environment designed around thoughtful craftsmanship, innovation, and guest-centric experience, provided a fitting backdrop for discussions centred on purposeful leadership, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Opening Perspectives on Leadership, Investor Relations and Market Evolution

The event opened with a welcome address by Mr Christopher Lee, CEO of AlphaInvest Holdings, who spoke about the evolving expectations placed on listed companies as capital markets across the region become more data-driven, transparent, and interconnected.

Christopher highlighted that investor relations has increasingly become a leadership function rather than a purely regulatory one. Across ASEAN, companies are expected not only to meet disclosure requirements, but also to communicate with clarity, consistency, and strategic intent by articulating a coherent equity narrative and engaging meaningfully with a diverse investor base.

As the region’s largest investor relations platform, ShareInvestor supports this evolution by combining market intelligence, digital IR tools, and advisory capabilities to help listed companies communicate more effectively with investors across Singapore and the wider ASEAN markets. These capabilities are increasingly relevant as companies seek to enhance visibility, build market confidence, and create sustainable long-term value.

Christopher also referenced recent initiatives introduced by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Singapore Exchange (SGX), including the Equity Market Development Programme (EQDP), which enables selected fund managers to co-invest up to S$5 billion into SGX-listed small- and mid-capitalisation companies.

The programme aims to strengthen fund management, equity research, and listing support, contributing to improved liquidity, efficiency, and resilience of Singapore’s capital markets. These initiatives underscore the growing importance of high-quality disclosure, credible market intelligence, and effective investor communication in supporting healthy capital markets.

This was followed by welcoming remarks from Mr Stanley Chia, Sales General Manager of Lexus Singapore, who spoke about the importance of creating environments that encourage thoughtful engagement, innovation, and long-term thinking.

Drawing parallels with the Lexus philosophy, he shared how excellence and reliability are not achieved through isolated moments, but through disciplined craftsmanship, consistency, and attention to detail over time. In this context, the car itself becomes a leadership expression—engineered for trust, performance, and longevity—reflecting the same values business and investment leaders seek to uphold in their organisations.

Data as a Foundation for Informed Leadership

The first presentation was delivered by Mr Shanison Lin, Director of AlphaInvest Holdings Pte Ltd and founder of the InvestingNote social investing platform, who introduced ShareInvestor Market Data Platform Version 2.

In an increasingly information-rich environment, ShareInvestor is focused on solving a growing challenge faced by investors and listed company management alike: the lack of time, not information.

“Most people today don’t lack information — they lack time. Especially for management teams of listed companies and active investors, time is everything,” said Mr Lin. “That’s the problem we are solving—helping users cut through the noise and get straight to what matters.”

Through a live walkthrough, he demonstrated how enhanced market analytics, peer benchmarking, and accessible data tools can help listed companies present their financial performance more clearly, while enabling investors to evaluate opportunities with greater confidence and precision.

Mr Lin illustrated how timely, well-structured data allows corporate management teams to benchmark their performance objectively against peers, communicate financial results more effectively, and align market messaging with underlying fundamentals. At the same time, investors benefit from improved visibility into company performance, trends, and comparative metrics—supporting more informed, forward-looking investment decisions.

The platform also offers specialised tools such as REIT-specific metrics and custom layouts for thematic indices, including the Next 50 Index, enabling users to identify opportunities and compare stocks across multiple dimensions with ease.

Community insights form another key pillar of the ecosystem. ShareInvestor is deepening its integration with InvestingNote, allowing users to view and participate in market discussions directly within the ShareInvestor platform. This tighter integration blends data-driven analysis with real-world investor perspectives.

The discussion underscored how leadership today is increasingly shaped by the ability to interpret information clearly, assess performance objectively, and respond decisively in a fast-changing market environment. When market data is made accessible and actionable, it becomes a foundation for strategic clarity rather than complexity—strengthening both corporate communication and investor trust.

AI at Work: Leadership and Competitive Advantage

The keynote address was delivered by Dr Lillian Koh, PhD, Founder and CEO of FinTech Academy, who spoke on “AI at Work: Transforming Leadership and Competitive Advantage.” Her session explored how artificial intelligence is evolving beyond automation to become a strategic enabler of leadership effectiveness, organisational agility, and competitive differentiation.

Dr Koh emphasised that while AI can enhance insight and efficiency, sustainable advantage ultimately depends on leadership mindset, governance, and the ability to integrate technology responsibly. Human-centred design, ethical judgement, and continuous learning remain critical as organisations adopt AI at scale.

Experience, Sustainability and the Human Dimension

Beyond the formal programme, the event reflected a broader emphasis on experience-driven leadership where attention to detail, respect for people, and long-term sustainability shape how organisations engage stakeholders. The Lexus Boutique setting reinforced this philosophy, blending innovation with hospitality and a commitment to responsible progress.

The programme concluded with refreshments and networking, offering participants the opportunity to exchange perspectives, engage directly with the speakers, and continue conversations on leadership, technology, and capital markets strategy. Guests also had the option to experience Lexus vehicles through a curated test-drive programme.

Looking Ahead

As organisations navigate an increasingly complex and technology-driven environment, the discussions throughout the session reinforced a clear message: leadership today is defined by clarity, credibility, and the ability to engage stakeholders with purpose.

Data and artificial intelligence may shape the tools of decision-making, but it is thoughtful leadership and disciplined communication that ultimately build trust and long-term value.

In this evolving landscape, investor relations have become a strategic bridge between corporate strategy and market confidence. By aligning intelligence, narrative, and engagement, companies can better position themselves for sustainable growth amid changing market expectations.

ShareInvestor remains committed to supporting this journey—working alongside listed companies and investors across Singapore and the wider ASEAN region to strengthen transparency, deepen engagement, and contribute to resilient and well-functioning capital markets in 2026 and beyond.
