Patrick Daniel has had a three-decade career with Singapore Press Holdings (SPH). He joined SPH in October 1986 as a writer and retired in August 2018 after serving as Deputy CEO and Editor-in-Chief. He also chaired several SPH subsidiaries, including SPH Magazines and SPH Radio.
He is currently the Non-Executive Chairman of the AlphaInvest Group, following a management buyout from SPH in November 2018. He also serves... as an Independent Director of Sembcorp Marine Ltd and chairs Verdant.sg, his investment holding company.
He graduated from University College, Oxford, in 1976 with an honours degree in Engineering Sciences and Economics and holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
Christopher Lee

Christopher Lee is one of the founding members of AlphaInvest, an internet media and technology company with operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the AlphaInvest Group.
He was instrumental in the development and expansion of AlphaInvest’s businesses across South Asia, particularly in the areas of investor communication, financial market data tools, and investor education services...
In 2008, AlphaInvest Group of companies (formerly known as ShareInvestor.com Holdings) was sold to Singapore Press Holdings (SPH). During his tenure with SPH, he made strategic investments in various companies to strengthen AlphaInvest’s offerings to both corporate and retail clients. In 2018, he successfully led his management team and completed the management buyout of the AlphaInvest Group from SPH.
He has more than 30 years of experience in the information technology and media industry. He began his career in 1992 as a Marketing Representative with IBM Singapore and went on to assume responsibilities across sales, marketing, training, and management within IBM.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours, Second Class Upper) from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration (Management of Information Technology) from Nanyang Technological University. He also completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School.
Lim Dau Hee
COO and Director, AlphaInvest Holdings Pte Ltd
Lim Dau Hee is the Chief Operating Officer of AlphaInvest and a founding member of the company. He heads the Information Technology and Market Data Analytics team in Singapore.
He is instrumental in conceptualising and implementing the IT architecture that supports AlphaInvest’s businesses across the region. In addition to overseeing the company’s day-to-day technical operations, he actively evaluates emerging technologies within the financial internet media industry...
He also plays an active role in AlphaInvest’s business expansion in Indonesia and serves as the President Commissioner of the Group’s Indonesian subsidiary.
He holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering (Honours, Second Class Upper) from the National University of Singapore.
Shanison Lin
Director, AlphaInvest Holdings Pte Ltd
Shanison Lin is the founder of InvestingNote, the largest and most active stock investing community platform in Singapore and Malaysia. He has been a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) holder since 2020 and has more than 10 years of trading experience in the financial markets.
Prior to founding InvestingNote, he served as the technical lead for AlphaInvest’s technology team for four years... During this period, he led the development of several large-scale financial platforms, including the main website of Bursa Malaysia.
He holds a Bachelor of Information Systems degree from the National University of Singapore under the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) Scholarship Programme.
